**EMS Staffing Shortage**
The Town of Whitefield Fire Department is currently facing a challenge with staffing EMS shifts. Four EMS staff are needed each day—two EMSs covering the 12-hour daytime shift and two covering the 12-hour nighttime shift.
When shifts cannot be fully staffed, response to emergency calls may be delayed while mutual aid is requested from neighboring communities, including Dalton, Lancaster, and Twin Mountain.
Your help can make a difference.
Please consider joining the Whitefield Fire Department. If you are an EMS, or know someone who may be interested in serving our community, please encourage them to reach out to Chief Ross to learn more about opportunities to volunteer and support Whitefield at firechief@whitefieldnh.gov or 603 837 2655.
Our community depends on our first responders. Please consider becoming part of the team.
Thank you to all of our current Whitefield Fire Department members for their continued service and dedication to our community as well as the teams providing service through mutual aid.
