NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Whitefield Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Whitefield Town Offices to receive public comment on the proposed acceptance of a bequest from Donald R. Spalding Living Trust in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) for concerts and other musical activities. 

Pursuant to RSA 31:95-b, the Town may accept unanticipated funds by vote of the Select Board after a public hearing. The purpose of this hearing is to inform residents and provide an opportunity for public input regarding the use of the bequest for concerts and other musical activities. 

All interested residents are encouraged to attend. Written comments may be submitted to the Selectmen’s Office at 56 Littleton Road, Whitefield, NH, 03598 or via email at:  administrativeassistant@whitefieldnh.gov prior to the hearing.
