REQUEST FOR OFFERS FIRE TRUCK

Pursuant to RSA 41:14-a and RSA 31:95-b, the Town of Whitefield, New Hampshire, located at 56 Littleton Road, Whitefield, NH 03598, is accepting sealed written offers for the sale of one (1) surplus fire engine described below.

Vehicle Description: Year: 1988 Make: International Engine: 466 Transmission: Automatic

• Water Tank Capacity: 1,000 gallons * Body Manufacturer: Middlesex
• Odometer: Approximately 29,000 miles (odometer was replaced; mileage is not certified) *Pump Capacity: 1,000 GPM, recently rebuilt, less than 100 hours

The fire engine is declared surplus municipal property and is offered for sale AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults, and without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Town of Whitefield makes no representations regarding the condition, operability, or suitability of the vehicle. Prospective purchasers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before submitting an offer. Inspection arrangements may be made by contacting the Town as listed below. All offers must be submitted in writing, sealed, and clearly marked “Offer – 1988 Fire Engine.” Offers must be received no later than April 30, at 12 noon at the following address: Town of Whitefield – Attention Chief Ross 56 Littleton Road Whitefield, NH 03598 The Town of Whitefield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, to waive any defects, irregularities, or informalities in the offers received, and to determine which offer, if any, is in the best interest of the Town, in accordance with applicable New Hampshire law.
