Whitefield Police Department Seeks Full-Time School Resource Officer

The Whitefield Police Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to White Mountains Regional High School.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated law enforcement professional who enjoys working with students, educators, and the community. The School Resource Officer works a predictable schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., while school is in session, with additional police department assignments during school vacations, holidays, and summer months.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be a United States citizen, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet the current physical fitness standards established by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council. Candidates must also successfully complete an oral interview, physical fitness test, comprehensive background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation, and medical examination.
