UNION STREET PRELIM ENGINEERING RFQ - AP-NBRC-206

The Town of Whitefield is looking for engineering firms to help with permitting and bid documents for a water main replacement project on Union Street (Route 3).

Project Overview

  • Replace about 2,000 feet of old water main (clay/lead pipe).
  • Work will happen at the same time as a state stormwater project (drainage, curbs, sidewalks) covering about 1,000 feet.
  • Goal: upgrade the water system while the road is already under construction.
  • Water main drawings are available upon request.

 

What to Submit (Qualifications Only)

Keep it brief and include:

  1. Company overview
  2. Staff resumes
  3. Any subcontractors/consultants
  4. Experience with similar projects
  5. Experience with state/federal-funded projects
  6. Ability to complete work within 2 months
  7. Three references (email or written preferred)

Do not submit a technical proposal (it won’t be reviewed).

Selection Process

  • The Town will review at least 3 firms.
  • Interviews may be conducted before making a final choice.

Additional Info

  • Project is funded locally with federal support (NBRC).
  • Must follow state and federal regulations (NHDOT requirements).
  • Construction-related services must be finished by December 31, 2026.
