Water & Wastewater Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)

The Town of Whitefield is seeking a full-time Water & Wastewater Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of municipal water distribution and wastewater treatment systems. Duties include maintaining pumps and equipment, repairing water lines and hydrants, monitoring system operations, performing routine inspections, grounds maintenance, and responding to emergency callouts. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in public works, utilities, or mechanical maintenance preferred. Must have basic mechanical aptitude and ability to obtain NH Water and Wastewater certifications within 6–12 months. Position requires physical labor in all weather conditions, lifting up to 75 lbs., and participation in an on-call rotation.

Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience.
