Burn Permit Notice

A valid NH Burn Permit is required for most outdoor fires, including brush burning, campfires not in a maintained fire pit, and seasonal clean-up burns.

  • Permits may be obtained in person or through the New Hampshire Online Burn Permit system.
  • Please help us keep the community safe by following all fire safety regulations.

Whitefield Police Department

Welcome to the Whitefield Police Department. Our mission is to protect and serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Whitefield with professionalism, integrity, and respect. As a small-town department, we take pride in building strong community relationships and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all.

Winter Parking Ban

Beginning November 1st, the winter parking ban is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Any vehicle parked on the street during these hours is subject to being ticketed or towed. Please help keep streets clear for winter road maintenance.
